Bandido shares some origins around his mask.
Bandido has been one of the more well known luchadores in the United States over the past decade, and recently returned from injury to compete in Ring Of Honor, a promotion he is all too familiar with.
In the latest episode of Hey! (EW), RJ City asked if Bandido was like other luchadores who were quite attractive under their mask, with Bandido joking that he is ugly under his mask.
"I consider that I'm ugly, you know? That's the reason why I use mask."
RJ would then ask if Bandido's wife had him keep his mask on.
"Probably, she always told me, hey, keep that."
