Batista is set to join another Daniel Craig film.
As Dave Bautista continues his journey into Hollywood, he's now slated to join the Knives Out franchise.
As first reported by Deadline, Batista will be joining Daniel Craig in the second installment of the film on Netflix. Deadline reported in March that Netflix was closing a deal north of $400 million for the next two installments, a historic deal for streamers.
Knives Out, released in 20190 grossed over $300 million and was nominated for Oscars and Golden Globes.
Netflix is working on more with Bautista, who is set to star in Zack Snyder’s tentpole zombie pic Army of the Dead set to debut on the platform.
In the James Bond film, Spectre, Batista played Mr. Hinx, the designated henchman for the film. Currently, there are no known plot details for Knives Out 2.
Batista was slated to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame last year before the emergence of the global pandemic. Now, his induction is held up until a time that will work for both parties.
