Bayley is on the mend.
After holding the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship for the majority of the year-and-a-half between Money in the Bank 2019 and Hell in a Cell 2020 including a historic reign that broke the record for the longest-reigning SmackDown Women's Championship run in history, Bayley was injured while training for an I Quit match against Bianca Belair scheduled to take place at Money in the Bank 2021.
Suffering a torn ACL, Bayley had to miss an extended period of time for the first time in her WWE career. Now, on a special holiday Instagram live stream, Bayley provides an update on her injury and stated that not only is her knee doing well, but her leg is doing well, her shin is doing well, her hip is doing well, and her mind is also doing well. She would not, however, confirm when she would be returning but she did say it would be soon.
"People are asking how my knee is. So my knees doing great my legs doing great. My ankles doing great. My calf is doing great. My shin is doing great. My hip is doing great. My mind is doing great. So, I mean, it's only a matter of time. I'm not going to tell you when. I don't want all these idiots watching to know when, but I'm going to be coming back soon... maybe. Y'all better be ready. Be ready."
One person who is hoping that Bayley will be back in time for WrestleMania is Sasha Banks who would like to see all Four Horsewomen take center stage in the main event of both nights of WrestleMania 38. Read Banks' comments here.
