In January, WWE and TNA announced a multi-year partnership that would see talent from each promotion crossover.
TNA and NXT worked together throughout 2024 with Jordynne Grace, who was the TNA Knockouts Champion at the time, appearing on NXT and WWE television.
Speaking to Adrian Hernandez of Unlikely, Bayley was asked about the partnership.
"This is nuts that we're in this relationship with TNA, that we have all these talented women in NXT. People coming all around the world to be part of this because it keeps getting bigger and bigger. The crazy thing about Royal Rumble is we have a good problem where we have too many women compared to the first year where we needed to bring in some legends and NXT talent. Now, we're in a place where we have too many talented women, and it's beautiful to see. When they announced the TNA partnership, I texted Hunter [Triple H] immediately, 'Sign me up, dude.' 'Okay, hold your horses. They have a system they have to go with.' I'm in NXT being able to work with a lot of these newer girls, so I'm excited to keep learning from different people," said Bayley.
Joe Hendry, the reigning TNA World Champion, entered the men's Royal Rumble.
No TNA talent appeared in the women's Royal Rumble.
