In a twist, Asuka was crowned the new Raw Women's Champion. Asuka won the title when she unhooked the Money in the Bank briefcase at WWE Money in the Bank. Typically, a contract for a title match would be inside the briefcase. But with Lynch announcing she is going to be a mother, the Raw Women's Championship was inside the briefcase.

After the in-ring segment, Lynch was congratulated backstage by her fellow Raw superstars including Rey Mysterio, the Street Profits, Natalya, Bianca Belair, and more.

Lynch is engaged to fellow Raw superstar Seth Rollins. The two announced their engagement in August 2019.

Lynch told PEOPLE, "I've always, always wanted kids. I'm just so career-focused that it became one of those things that, when you're chasing a dream for so long, I always wondered, 'Am I going to get around to it? Is it going to happen for me?' Now you have this whole other person that you have to look after and grow, and make sure that you're doing everything that you possibly can to make sure that they are the healthiest and the safest that they can be. But we're just so, so excited. Just so excited for how much love we're going to give that little thing."

Lynch went through a number of pregnancy tests in April, but the first one was negative with Lynch saying she took it wrong. A digital test confirmed the good news. She is expected in December.

"I don't know what the next chapter is because I only know what it's like to think for myself when I'm by myself," Lynch said. "So I don't know what it'll look like and how my priorities shift and what I'm going to want in the future. So, everything's open."

Lynch had been the reigning Raw Women's Champion since WrestleMania 35 when she defeated Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair in the main event to win both the Raw and SmackDown Women's Championships.

Congratulations to the happy couple.
