Big Bill reflects on aligning with Chris Jericho.
Since the May 1st edition of AEW Dynamite, Big Bill has been part of The Learning Tree along with Chris Jericho, and has teamed with him on several occasions since. On the June 12th edition of Dynamite, Bill was declared as the 'Redwood' of The Learning Tree.
While speaking to Rasslin' in a recent interview, Bill noted that one of the biggest things Chris Jericho has helped him with is confidence.
"Yeah, for sure. I got to work with him pretty quickly when I was in WWE. When I came back to AEW, I wanted to work with him, or work a program with him, work on his team, and then when he pitched this to me, I was like, yeah, this is great. So it’s constantly asking him for advice. Not just about wrestling, either. About life and stuff like that, and he’s always got really, really good advice. The one thing that he’s helped me with maybe the most is confidence. I feel like since I started with Chris, my confidence has started to get higher and higher, which can probably be seen on the screen. Working with Chris, I know now my instincts are good, and I am good, and he’s constantly reinforcing that for me."
