Big Cass Is Not Ruling Out A Reunion With Enzo Amore If The Money Is Right

Will there be a reunion?

The duo of Enzo and Big Cass were friends for ten years prior to their arrivals in WWE. It has been documented that the two men met when they were teenagers on a basketball court in New York and were close since then. After signing their developmental contracts, they were immediately paired together and were managed by former SmackDown Live Women's Champion Carmella.

Big Cass and Enzo arose to the top of the NXT Tag Team division without championship gold as they became one of the most popular acts on the brand. That popularity translated over to the main roster when Enzo and Cass made their main roster debuts the night after WrestleMania 32 in Dallas.

After only one-year as a duo, in the summer of 2017 WWE split Enzo and Cass which led to a feud between the former partners. Unfortunately for Cass, he tore his ACL the night after the 2017 SummerSlam PPV in a match with Enzo which kept him out of action until April of this year. Enzo went on to become a two-time WWE Cruiserweight Champion but shortly after Cass' ACL tear, Enzo made some negative comments about Cass' injury on social media which severed their friendship. Fast forward to present day and both men have been released from WWE and although they are no longer as tight as they once were, Cass is not ruling out a reunion with his former running mate if the money is right. Big Cass recently joined Booker T's 'Heated Conversations' podcast and had the following to say when asked about a potential reunion with his former tag team partner:

“No. That’s… look, what me and him had was very special. It was special in NXT, it was special in WWE. I feel like it ran its course, and they pulled the trigger on separating us at the right time--unfortunately I got injured but they pulled the trigger at the right time." Cass said. "I just… me and him, we don’t keep in contact, we’re not friends so, I just don’t think that that’s going to be a possibility. I mean… let me tell you something Booker: if the money is right, I’ll definitely do it." Cass laughs. "But at this point in time, I have not been [given] any offers from anybody so I don’t know. They say ‘never say never’ so I don’t know. Maybe one day, me and him will be reunited and me and him will be great friends again and we’ll just take the world by storm but right now I would say I don’t think there’s a chance.”

In a recent interview, Enzo Amore stated that there is not enough money in this world to get him to wrestle again, and to read more of Big Cass' comments during this interview, click here.
