Big E says the members of New Day are selfless regarding the group.
The New Day have been wrestling as a trio for almost four years including multiple tag team Championship reigns one of which was record-breaking. In an interview with TampaBay.com, Big E of New Day was asked about his career in WWE, the success of New Day, and what has kept him, Xavier Woods, and Kofi Kingston together as a group.
"Honestly, one of the biggest things is we’re pretty selfless amongst ourselves. We wanted to make it clear from the beginning there is no leader. Not hogging the spotlight and believing in the group as a whole," said Big E. "That doesn’t always happen and for us it’s been fairly easy. There’s no bickering. There’s no battling. I’m not saying we don’t have different ideas sometimes. But were always able to discuss it," he continued.
Next week on Smackdown, New Day will be wrestling Sheamus and Cesaro and the winner will face Smackdown Tag Team Champions the Bludgeon Brothers at SummerSlam.
