Big E gives the latest update on his potential return.
Big E has been sidelined since the March 11, 2022 episode of WWE SmackDown when he suffered a neck injury when he landed on his head following a belly-to-belly suplex from Ridge Holland. Big E fractured his C1 vertebrae and C6 vertebrae but didn't suffer any ligament or spinal cord damage.
Speaking to TMZ, Big E said he still doesn't have a timeline for a potential return.
"I don't have a timeline, unfortunately, but thank you for asking. I just want to make a smart decision. I didn't start wrestling to end up in a wheelchair, so I just want to make sure I'm just making the best decision for myself," he said.
During his time away from the ring, Big E has continued to work on Our Heroes Rock with Andreas Hale and Jonathan Davenport. Fans can learn more about the project, and their short film "Bridges" by clicking here.
Big E will reunite with Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston on WWE TV when they appear together on WWE's The Bump.
