The Big Show is hoping to return to action as early as Raw following SummerSlam.
Speaking to Jacob Wolf of ESPN, Show said, "I'm actually going to try and get cleared Sunday, by [WWE's] doctors; moving around the ring a little bit. I could be back as soon as the Monday Night Raw after SummerSlam, if they have something for me."
Of course, Show made sure to hedge his bet on returning so soon if he's cleared.
"Just because I'm healthy, doesn't mean our creative team is healthy for me yet," he said. "All you can do is get yourself as prepared as you can and then when the opportunity is given, make the most of it. I've been around this business a long time. Trust me, if they give me the opportunity, I'm going to knock the freaking crap out of it."
Show has been out of action since September 2017 due to hip surgery. He last competed on the Sept. 4 edition of Raw, where he was slammed through the side of a cage by Braun Strowman.
Following surgery, Show explained that a post-surgical infection delayed his recovery process.
He appeared at the WWE Hall of Fame this past year to induct Mark Henry. He's scheduled to appear at the Brooklyn Cyclones SummerSlam night on Thursday.
