Blair Davenport says she's not done with Naomi and teases that she has found some friends of her own to neutralize Naomi's popularity in the WWE locker room.
Blair Davenport lost in a singles bout to Naomi on the July 12 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown. Backstage after the match, Davenport shook Naomi's hand and said she was going to work harder to beat her next time. However, that was a ruse, as the minute Naomi turned her back, Davenport assaulted her from behind.
Speaking to Byron Saxton on the WWE SmackDown LowDown, Davenport proclaimed that Naomi would learn that it is only up to the former NXT UK star to decide when things are over. Davenport also teased, having found some backup to neutralize Naomi's bounty of friends in the SmackDown locker room, including Bayley, Bianca Belair, and Jade Cargill.
"I mean, yes. Naomi may have gotten the win over me tonight. But one thing she is going to find out is that I say when things are over, especially around here, and yes, I'm more than aware that she has all her little buddies backstage. Everyone loves Naomi, don't they? But maybe I've made a few friends myself."
Davenport came up to the Friday Night Smackdown brand as part of the 2024 WWE Draft. Still, she has yet to find the measure of success she was looking for.
