Bo Nickal is one of the most highly-touted UFC prospects coming up today as a former three-time NCAA Division I National Champion.
Nickal is currently 4-0 in the UFC and set to fight Val Woodburn at UFC 290.
Speaking to Michael Bisping ahead of UFC 290, Nickal was asked if he's looked at the path Brock Lesnar took through the world of combat sports.
"100%. Anybody that has achieved things that I want to achieve, I want to learn from them. Brock Lesnar was a NCAA Champion, he was a WWE superstar, he was a UFC Champion. I've accomplished one of those things, NCAA Champion, I want to be a UFC Champion, and maybe, eventually, crossover to WWE at some point. That could be something that's fun," he said.
Nickal continued, "Guys like that, I'm always looking to learn from and see what their strengths are, what their weakness are, how they handle themselves in the media, how they handle themselves competing in the cage, and I'm very studious of things like that. There are a lot of wrestlers who have done great things, Brock is one of the biggest names in combat sports and there is a ton for me to learn from him."
Brock last fought at UFC 200, defeating Mark Hunt, though it was ruled a no contest after Lesnar tested positive for a banned substance. He is still in WWE and currently feuding with Cody Rhodes.
