Booker T has been impressed by Ridge Holland.
Ridge Holland has been on a remarkable run in NXT in recent months. He defeated Andre Chase in an Ambulance Match at NXT Halloween Havoc. Holland then pinned NXT Champion Trick Williams in a tag team match at NXT 2300. Holland beat Chase on the November 19 episode of NXT to earn a shot at the NXT Championship. He will challenge Williams for the title at NXT Deadline.
Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T shared his thoughts on Ridge Holland.
“Ridge Holland is about to cash in, man. This is gonna be a big night for him [at NXT Deadline]. I must say, Ridge Holland has done a hell of a job coming back to NXT, reinventing himself. This guy, this Ridge Holland is as believable as any guy that I’ve seen going in the middle of that squared circle. Does he gotta work on his promo skills? Yeah, but he’s got that overseas accent, we gotta work on that, but other than that [laughs], Ridge Holland is definitely a guy that is definitely on my radar. I will put this latest version of Ridge Holland in Booker T’s Fave Five," Booker T said.
