Reed out, Strowman in.
Just hours before Raw went on the air, Adam Pearce announced that Bronson Reed was being removed from the Intercontinental Championship Number One Contender Tournament match on Raw after testing positive for COVID. Reed was originally set to face off with Sheamus and Ludwig Kaiser.
During Raw, Braun Strowman approached Adam Pearce and asked to take Reed's spot in the match. Pearce agreed to let Strowman in the bout after doctors told him that he was good to go.
