Braun Strowman survived and defeated Goldberg to win the WWE Universal Title at WrestleMania 36.
A late replacement for Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman made the most of his opportunity against Goldberg at WrestleMania 36. Goldberg started hot, hitting Strowman with a series of spears. But Strowman was able to survive and kick out. Goldberg went for the Jackhammer, but Strowman reversed before the lift, picking Goldberg up and hitting a powerslam. Three more powerslams later and Strowman pinned Goldberg for the three count, giving him the victory and the WWE Universal Championship.
