We've seen the next generation of 1997's Hart Foundation in the form of Davey Boy Smith Jr, Natalya and even Tyson Kidd to an extent, but another is heading up to Canada to launch his pro wrestling training -- Brian Pillman Jr.
Pillman, obviously the son of "The Loose Cannon" Brian Pillman of WCW, ECW and WWF fame has relocated to Calgary, Alberta, Canada to train under Lance Storm. "I start training with Lance on Monday, September 11 and will be working with him Monday through Friday until December 1st," he tells Fightful.
Pillman has met great support locally in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area, and actually traveled to Louisville to do a little training with Rip Rogers at Ohio Valley Wrestling earlier this year. He's often seen wearing a Bengal tiger shirt, and ode to his late father who wore striped trunks as a callback to his Cincinnati Bengals NFL days.
Turning 24 years old this weekend, Pillman was also in attendance at WWE's NXT live event in Highland Heights in June, where he spoke to William Regal and was welcomed by the company.
Storm has trained several WWE Superstars, including Emma, Tyler Breeze, Peyton Royce, Oney Lorcan, in addition to Sylvester LeFort, Laurel Van Ness, and Taya.
