Returning Paul Heyman Agrees To Championship Defense For Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar will be competing in the WWE ring in August.

On Raw tonight, Kurt Angle was expecting an answer from Brock Lesnar regarding his ultimatum. Lesnar was suppose to show up to Raw, agree to defend his title, or be stripped of the WWE Universal Championship.

Four-Way Match Added To AEW Full Gear: Zero Hour

Angle started Raw addressing the crowd regarding Lesnar and was interrupted by Lesnar's advocate Paul Heyman. Fightful Wrestling reported Heyman would be appearing on Raw this week. That information and more was available in the spoilers available right before Raw.

Heyman came to the ring and tried to avoid saying Lesnar would be defending his Championship before Angle told him he needed an answer right then. Angle said Lesnar must defend his Championship at Summerslam or he would be stripped. Heyman reluctantly agreed.

Then, six wrestlers interrupted Angle and Heyman and each claimed they should be the one to face Brock Lesnar besides Roman Reigns who just wanted to fight someone. Those wrestlers included Reigns, Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, and Elias.

Angle then made two triple threat matches and a match between the winners next week. Balor, Reigns, and McIntyre were selected for one match. Rollins, Lashley, and Elias were put into the second triple threat.

Fightful Wrestling has live coverage and a recapping podcast each week for Raw and the same will be available for Summerslam.
