Brock Lesnar has reached rarified air as Champion.
At WrestleMania 33, Brock Lesnar defeated Goldberg to become WWE Universal Champion. Since that victory he has defended the Championship six times on WWE programming including two singles matches against his SummerSlam opponent Roman Reigns.
It has been 500 days since Lesnar won the Championship which puts him among some of the longest reigning Champions in the history of WWE. There are only a handful of wrestlers who earned this feat with the WWE Championship and one who reached 500 days as United States Champion.
Only a couple weeks ago, Raw General Manager Kurt Angle criticized Lesnar on Raw for being the "worst" WWE Universal Championship of all time. There are only three other Universal Champions in history and the one with the second most days as Champion was Kevin Owens with 188 days. SummerSlam on Sunday will be the 504th day of Lesnar's reign as he faces Reigns once again.
Fightful Wrestling will have live coverage and a recapping podcast for WWE SummerSlam including the WWE Universal Championship match.
