Bryan Danielson Says He Won't Retire As AEW Champion, But His Full-Time Career Is Over When He Loses The Title

Bryan Danielson ain't done yet.

'The American Dragon' closed the August 28 edition of AEW Dynamite by addressing fans about his future in the world of professional wrestling. Danielson first told a story about how his daughter told him that the day of All In was the best day of her life. Danielson then declared that his title win at All In is the favorite moment of his entire career.

Danielson went on talk about how he needs neck surgery sooner rather than later and how it was probably time for him to go home given the healthy state of AEW's roster. Out of nowhere, Danielson lit up and exclaimed that he's not going home yet, stating that he refuses to retire as AEW World Champion.

After noting that his full-time career will be over once he loses the title, Danielson seemingly opened himself up for a title defense at AEW All Out. Jack Perry appeared on the screen for a short promo before attacking Danielson from behind to close the show.
