Bryan Danielson says Swerve Strickland is incredible.
At AEW All In, Bryan Danielson defeated Swerve Strickland to win the AEW World Championship. The hard-fought match brought Strickland's reign to an end. Strickland's title run began at AEW Dynasty, where he beat Samoa Joe. He went on to defend the title against Christian Cage and Will Ospreay, among other challengers.
At the AEW All In post-show media scrum, Jamal Niles of Seconds Out asked Bryan Danielson where Swerve Strickland ranks as an opponent.
"I don’t like to rank opponents as far as ‘this person is better than this person.’ Swerve is incredible. Every step of the way. In terms of the build for this match, Swerve carried the load. He did an incredible job. He’s been an incredible world champion. I can’t speak highly enough about who he is as a wrestler, doing interviews, how he is with the press. He’s so good. Overall, what a wonderful human being," Danielson said.
