Bryan Danielson wants Zack Sabre Jr. to win the G1 Climax.
With the G1 Climax recently hitting the halfway point, fans are beginning to predict the winner of the prestigious tournament. Many fans are predicting that Zack Sabre Jr. will emerge from the tournament victorious, as he currently ranks as the top wrestler in the A block.
While speaking to Sports Illustrated for a new interview, Bryan Danielson said that he'd like to see Sabre win the tournament and go on to win the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.
“As a fan of the New Japan product, I would love to see Zack Sabre win the G1 and go on to become IWGP World Heavyweight Champion. If you were to ask me whose matches I enjoy the most and what personalities I enjoy the most in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, it’s Zack Sabre Jr.”
Danielson went on to say that Sabre is the guy he enjoys watching the most in NJPW.
“I don’t know the business metrics and all that kind of stuff. But his interviews are the most compelling to me, and in a very real way. He’s the guy I enjoy watching the most.”
