Calvin Tankman Says He'd Sign Another Contract In Wrestling If The Money Was Right

Calvin Tankman says he would sign another contract, but only if the money was right.

Earlier this year, Calvin Tankman departed from Major League Wrestling, bringing his near four year run with the company to an end. Throughout his time in the promotion, Tankman competed in a number of big matches and even had a reign with the MLW World Tag Team Championships alongside EJ Nduka.

While speaking to MuscleManMalcolm for a new interview, Tankman was asked if he would be interested in signing another wrestling contract in the future. In response, Tankman noted that he would only do that if the money was right.

“Yeah, but at the end of the day, the money has got to be right. I’m not expecting, I’m not Cody Rhodes, I’m not expecting to get a million dollars out of the gate or anything like that. It’s one of things where if the money is there where I can take care of my family and daughter, then yes. But I’m not into the signing contracts where someone can tell me where and when I can work someplace if you’re not paying me enough to where I don’t need to work there. That’s my whole thing. If you pay me enough to where I don’t need to work there, that’s fine. That’s why Vince can do that because he pays people enough for that. If you’re not paying me enough, I’m not signing anything ever again.”

Since leaving MLW, Tankman has continued his journey on the independent scene, competing in promotions like Black Label Pro, Deadlock Pro, and GCW.
