Candice LeRae Beats IYO SKY, Wins WWE Speed Women's Championship On WWE Speed

Candice LeRae has won the gold.

On the October 9th episode of WWE Speed, Candice LeRae and IYO SKY clashed in the finals of the WWE Speed Women’s Championship Tournament. SKY took control early on with a dive to the outside, and she dropped LeRae with a backbreaker. LeRae rallied with a kick and a senton. SKY dumped LeRae with a German suplex for a two-count.

LeRae got a two-count with an avalanche swinging neckbreaker. SKY answered with a Spanish Fly for a two count. Indi Hartwell interfered, but SKY kept rolling. SKY kicked Hartwell off the apron. LeRae then countered a moonsault and hit a springboard moonsault for the win. In doing so, she became the inaugural WWE Speed Women’s Championship.

Candice LeRae previously advanced to the finals by beating Kairi Sane, while SKY defeated Naomi in the semifinals.
