Candice Michelle On Vince McMahon Allegations: I Pray For All Sides, I Think The Goal Is 'How Can We Heal?'

Candice Michelle wants both parties to heal.

In January 2024, Janel Grant filed a lawsuit against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and WWE. In the lawsuit, Grant alleges that she was the victim of emotional abuse, sexual assault, and trafficking. McMahon denied the allegations, but he is under federal investigation. McMahon has been in the spotlight again recently, as the Netflix docuseries about him, titled "Mr. McMahon", premiered on September 25th. The docuseries includes interviews with McMahon, who briefly comments on trauma that he endured earlier in his life.

During a virtual signing with K&S WrestleFest, former WWE Women's Champion Candice Michelle was asked to share her thoughts on Vince McMahon and the Netflix docuseries.

"I think first of all, I loved the documentary. One of the things that I want to say that I liked so much, and it just rang so true to me, I have never been known as the best wrestler or the wrestler either the coolest moves. I think for me what got me over was being able to take the heat and really kind of putting my partner over. One of the things that Vince says in this docuseries is being able to take the heat and not only take the heat, but love taking the heat, and in that, obviously there’s a lot of controversy around him right now, and I just pray for all sides of these parties because can see in this documentary that he suffered a lot of trauma, and you can see that these women suffered a lot of trauma, and I think the goal is, how can we heal from the trauma versus blame each other for the trauma. Hope that helps," Michelle said.

Michelle also commented on the lawsuit and reiterated her hope that both parties would heal. She noted that it was up to the two parties to figure it out, and she expressed that they would be able to move on with their lives.

“I think it comes down to what makes people heal. Can this woman heal from a financial gain? Can Vince heal and be not attached to this lawsuit from financial settlement? So that’s between these two parties to really figure out, and hopefully they can move on from this and can live the rest of their lives," Michelle said.

Michelle was recently shown in the crowd on the August 12th episode of WWE Raw.

In a previous interview, Michelle discussed her absence from wrestling and her health issues. Check out her comments here.
