Carmella shares the moment she is most proud of in her professional career.
Former SmackDown Live Women's Champion Carmella is in the field of competitors on SmackDown Live who could potentially be selected to represent the blue-brand at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view in the women's Money In The Bank Ladder match on May 19th. Carmella was the first-ever winner of the women's Money In The Bank match and she held onto her briefcase until the SmackDown after WrestleMania 34 on-which she cashed in her contract and defeated Charlotte Flair to win the title.
Carmella never thought she'd be a wrestler let alone hold championship gold in WWE and she has ventured off into other businesses outside of the company such as launching her own wine. Carmella was interviewed by 'The Hype Magazine' to promote her wine and she was asked what is the moment she is most proud of in her professional career and she eluded straight to her SmackDown Women's Title victory.
"Oh definitely. Becoming SmackDown Women’s Champion in WWE, because like I said, it wasn’t something I ever thought I would do. I never thought I would be a wrestler. So to train and be doing it for such a short period of time and reach the height and become champion, that says a lot about work ethic and how hard I tried and worked at becoming a wrestler. To me that’s the ultimate, that I can go down in history as being champion, because there’s nothing higher than that. So I feel very fortunate for that." Carmella said.
On tonight's edition of SmackDown Live, the participants from SmackDown in the men's and women's Money In The Bank Ladder matches will be revealed and following the show, our crew is going live on the Fightful Pro Wrestling YouTube channel for our post-SmackDown review podcast.
