Carmelo Hayes is him... So is the AEW Devil.
AEW's top angle right now has someone running around in Maxwell Jacob Friedman's devil mask, making trouble for the current AEW World Champion, his friends, and in the case of Jay White, even his enemies.
It is not yet known who's underneath the mask or the identity of his masked assailants. However, there is a t-shirt for the mystery performer available now. The shirt reads "I am him." and one NXT Superstar has reacted to his catchphrase being used by AEW.
Upon the release of this t-shirt, former NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes tweeted the ShopAEW account, noting that he wanted a shirt. Matt Taven even got in on the action, reflecting that he had the words on his shirt many years ago.
