Catchphrases in wrestling can sometimes be an important part of helping new characters connect with an audience. D-Generation X's "Suck it!" Stone Cold Steve Austin's Austin 3:16," and Ric Flair's "Wooooo!" have all been heard for decades and all helped even the most established characters reach new heights in their careers and continue to connect with generations of wrestling fans.
Peyton Royce and Billie Kay, now known as Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay, had a unique catchphrase of their own during their time in the WWE. They would stand proudly, hands on their hips, and yell "IIconic," and it was just that.
Speaking about the catchphrase during a recent interview with DS of Ring the Belle, Cassie Lee says that the catchphrase being shrieked in unison and striking the pose was all a result of the natural chemistry between the teammates.
"Just natural. Jess and I just have this chemistry. We just know each other inside and out. It's like we finish each other's sentences, we say the same thing at the same time, and it gets annoying for people around us. They're like, 'Alright, we get it,' but no, it's just chemistry."
