Chad Gable remains determined to deal with his luchador problem.
On the January 13th episode of WWE Raw, Chad Gable lost to the debuting Penta. The following week, he admitted that he had a problem, as he had been having trouble with luchador stars. Gable said that he had sought Dominik Mysterio's help. Dominik then gave Gable a piece of paper with a name on it, and Gable said that he would master the dark arts of lucha libre.
During a commercial on the January 27th episode of WWE Raw, Gable again spoke with Mysterio. He noted that he looked up the address that Mysterio gave him, and it was a long way for him to travel. Mysterio told Gable to trust him, and Gable said he would. He stated that he would go see the individual after he tied up some loose ends at home, including winning the Royal Rumble. Gable again said he would master the dark arts of lucha libre. Mysterio responded by saying that Gable owed him one.

Chad Gable previously lost to Dragon Lee and Rey Mysterio (in tag team action) during his feud with the LWO.
