Charles Crowley Doesn't Want To Team With Anyone But Alexxis Falcon, Would Rather Face Bussy Alone

Charles Crowley isn't interested in teaming with anyone but Alexxis Falcon.

Last month, Alexxis Falcon announced that she had suffered a serious shoulder injury that would keep her out of action for some time. This meant that Alexxis would be out of her tag team bout at Progress The Devil On My Shoulder alongside Charles Crowley against the team of Bussy.

In a recent interview with Progress, Crowley was asked about Alexxis' injury and recovery and how he reacted to the news.

"I mean, only she can say how she’s truly doing but I think she’s ok now she knows the injury and is on the road to recovery. I was gutted for her because since we lost the tag belts we’ve just been in a rut, that hit us real hard and we came back with so much fire just for it to be extinguished by this. That being said, Alexxis Falcon wouldn’t want to hold me back, so I guess I move forwards, but I’ll need to re-find myself first. One thing is for sure, I’m here to be a champion, it’s just which championship I strive for."

Charles was then asked about who would be replacing Falcon, with Crowley noting that if he had his way, he would be going up against Effy and Allie Katch alone.

"Literally I have no idea who it is but I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I’m not interested in tagging with anyone else. Alexxis Falcon is my tag partner so whoever it is, I’d rather they just stay out and left me to it solo."

Fightful Select's Corey Brennan recently sat down with Crowley for an interview. You can find that here.
