Charlotte Flair says there will always be an unspoken bond between The Four Horsewomen of WWE.
Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, and Bayley will forever be linked to one another due to their closeness in WWE NXT and the way that they all hit their peak at the same time to help grow not only the NXT brand but women's wrestling as a whole.
Over time, all four have gone their separate ways but Charlotte Flair says, in a new interview with Metro, that she will always have a certain level of respect for the other three women for what they all went through together.
"It’s an unspoken bond. Our careers have all taken different turns and ended up in different spots at different times. The level of respect is always there, no matter what. You just don’t… maybe we should talk about it more, but we all know how we feel about each other, what we did and what it took and how hard we worked to get where we are."
Speaking specifically of her relationship with Sasha Banks, Charlotte would say that she and Sasha are forever in a competition of wanting to be the greatest and they both understand the business and their own goals on a different level.
Of course, she and Sasha Banks were the first major rivalry for the WWE Raw Women's Championship following the original draft in 2016 and they would go on to have the first ever women's Hell in a Cell match and compete in the first-ever women's Iron Man match on an official WWE pay-per-view.
"We know who we are. Night and day. We understand the business a little bit more, and our goals. There's so much that goes into it," she explained. "We're both extremely competitive. So, when we're in the ring together and I know there's just a whole level of competition of wanting to be the greatest. You just push each other that much more."
Charlotte Flair will once again square off with another member of the WWE’s Four Horsewomen when she faces Becky Lynch at WWE Survivor Series in a clash of champions. Recently, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair got into a backstage altercation following a segment on Friday Night SmackDown where they swapped their respective championships following the WWE Draft.
