Charlotte explains her stance.
Come October 28th, WWE will be presenting their first-ever all-women's PPV entitled 'Evolution'. The show will be held at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, NY and there are a number of matches and championship title defenses that are set to take place on the show. Trish Stratus will be going one-on-one with Alexa Bliss, Lita will face Mickie James, Shayna Baszler receives her rematch for the NXT Women's Championship as she challenges Kairi Sane and the finals of the Mae Young Classic tournament will all take place at 'Evolution'.
One of the hottest feuds in WWE's women's division at the moment is the rivalry between Charlotte Flair and SmackDown Live Women's Champion Becky Lynch. The two have been at odds since SummerSlam and the action has not slowed down as they are headed into their next battle on October 6th at WWE Super Show-Down. Charlotte is also looking ahead to 'Evolution' which is a few weeks after WWE Super-Down and while there are many "dream matches" that Charlotte or Becky could have on that card, Charlotte believes that a match with Becky would have more meaning behind it and she further elaborated on her comments when she was interviewed by Alex McCarthy of GiveMeSport.
"It's not that I don't dream about wrestling Trish or Lita, but with the current storyline with Becky Lynch and I being so heated, it means that much more," Charlotte said. "It's not like, 'Oh, there would be this match just thrown out on the card because it would be exciting'. What makes it exciting is the storyline behind it. You see these two best friends competing for the top place and then Becky evolving; so it's not that I wouldn't want to - it's all about the story."
During a recent interview the new SmackDown Live Women's Champion Becky Lynch shared her thoughts on whether she is a heel or a babyface. To read more on that, click here.
