Charlotte Flair On Her Nerves Going Into Her First WrestleMania, Not Taking Time To Reflect On Past

Charlotte Flair says she doesn't take time to reflect on her accomplishments in the industry.

Charlotte Flair is the most decorated female performer in WWE history. Some of the titles that she has captured no longer even exist. Charlotte Flair was also part of the first-ever WWE Women's Championship match at WrestleMania 32 in 2016. Now, she will return to AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas to be part of the main event of the first night of WrestleMania 38 against Ronda Rousey.

Speaking on Barstool’s Rasslin’, Flair says she never imagined her career turning out so successfully.

“For me, it's like, at WrestleMania 32, I would have never imagined my career getting to here. Now it's like — at [WrestleMania] 32, I was walking down the ramp thinking, ‘Oh, my God, don't fall! Do I look this way? Do I look that way? Do I ‘Woo!’ do I not ‘Woo!?’ How do I do this? ‘ Now, it's like I am the main event,” she said.

Despite being a game-changer, Charlotte says she doesn't take time to reflect on her accomplishments but thinks that maybe one day, everyone that has taken part in the Women's Evolution will take the time to reflect after they've decided to slow down more.

“I know you're supposed to enjoy the ride, right?” Charlotte said. “But it's really hard to really sit down and reflect because it's it just feels like yesterday, But I'm like, ‘Oh my gosh, how do we go from NXT, to TakeOvers, to the second main event WrestleMania?’ Yeah, I don't — it's not like we all get together and sit there and like, ‘Yeah, we really changed the game.’ I think we're just also competitive by nature. Maybe one day when we all slow down…”

There will be no time to slow down for Charlotte Flair this Saturday as she steps into the ring with Ronda Rousey in the main event of the first night of Wrestlemania. That night will also feature the return of Stone Cold Steve Austin on the Kevin Owens Show.
