Roxanne Perez caught Charlotte Flair's attention.
On the July 16th episode of WWE NXT, NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez brought up Charlotte Flair and her remarkable WWE career. She noted that Flair was a 14-time champion, but she was on pace to shatter the veteran's records. Perez went on to name-drop Bayley, Asuka, and Rhea Ripley, and she said that nobody compared to her.
Charlotte Flair then took to Twitter/X and responded to Perez. She told her to keep doing her thing, and she was sure that they would meet in the ring one day.

Charlotte Flair has been out of action since she suffered a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus on the December 8th, 2023, episode of WWE SmackDown. As of this writing, there is no word on when she will return to WWE programming.
