Cheeseburger says Jay Lethal doesn't get nearly enough credit.
Jay Lethal was previously one of Ring of Honor's top stars for several years. During his time with the company, he held the ROH World Championship twice and the ROH Pure Championship. He also won the ROH World Television Championship and the ROH World Tag Team Championship. Lethal signed with AEW in November 2021, and he continues to wrestle on the independent scene as well.
Speaking on Fightful Overbooked's Coexisting with Rob & Maggie, Cheeseburger was asked whether Jay Lethal went easy on him when they wrestled for the ROH World Television Championship.
“I’ve been very lucky enough to wrestle Jay Lethal several times in my career. He is, I think one of the best wrestlers in the world and one of the best of all time. He doesn’t get nearly enough love and credit, and [he is] an absolute professional. Every time I wrestle him, it’s always super fun, I always learn a lot, and he’s fantastic. We had two world title matches in 2014. I don’t really know how those came about, but it was very fun. I was very lucky enough to step in there with him very early in my career, and he’s absolutely incredible. I cannot sing his praises enough as a talent," Cheeseburger said.
