Chris Jericho Does Not Approve Of NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 13 Bout Against Tetsuya Naito

Chris Jericho is "refusing" to wrestle Tetsuya Naito at Wrestle Kingdom in January.

Last Sunday night, NJPW announced the card for their annual Wrestle Kingdom event. Among the announced matches was IWGP Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho defending his title against Tetsuya Naito. Jericho defeated Naito to win the title at Dominion on June 9. The rivalry was renewed at Power Struggle when Naito made the save for his Los Ingobernables de Japon mate EVIL, who was assaulted by Jericho following the main event.

After making the save, Naito said he will win his title back from Jericho. However, in a backstage interview, Jericho was not keen on granting Naito a rematch. Despite NJPW announcing the bout for Wrestle Kingdom, Jericho is not budging off his stance.

If nothing else, Jericho is committed to the character.
