Chris Jericho Makes His Return To NJPW At 'King Of Pro Wrestling' And Attacks EVIL

Y2J has returned.

This past June at NJPW's 'Dominion' event, in the semi-main event Chris Jericho defeated Tetsuya Naito and shockingly captured the IWGP Intercontinental Championship. Following his championship victory Jericho continued his attack of Naito but Naito's faction-mate EVIL made his way down to the ring to put a halt to Jericho's attack.

Chris Jericho has not appeared in New Japan Pro Wrestling since he captured the IWGP Intercontinental Title but he did do an interview with the company and stated that EVIL was on his hit-list because of the aforementioned interference that took place at 'Dominion'. The former 9-time WWE Intercontinental Champion was not just spewing threats during that interview and he followed up on his word today at 'King Of Pro Wrestling'. EVIL was set to take on Zack Sabre Jr. and the two were going to put an end to their feud but before EVIL could get in the ring he was attacked by a masked man and under that mask was none other than Chris Jericho.

Jericho did not speak a word as he put a beat-down on EVIL and walked to the back. As far as EVIL's match with Zack Sabre Jr. goes, head over to Fightful's coverage article of 'King Of Pro Wrestling' to find out what happened after Y2J made his appearance and attacked "The King Of Darkness".
