A cease-fire between AEW and NXT was called on Friday night when Chris Jericho sent Triple H warm wishes for his 25th anniversary.
On WWE SmackDown, WWE celebrated 25 years of 'The Game' in WWE, looking back at some of his highlights throughout the night. The celebration peaked in the final segment which included Shawn Michaels reminiscing of the D-X days and all of Triple H's losses at WrestleMania, FaceTime cameos from Ric Flair, Road Dogg, and Stephanie McMahon, and a surprise appearance by Vince McMahon.
But things didn't end there.
The celebration spilled to social media where current AEW star Chris Jericho sent a message to his former in-ring foe.
"Times and circumstances may change, but one thing that never changes is the amazing chemistry I had with Triple H. I want to wish him a happy 25th anniversary to one of the greatest who ever stepped inside a wrestling ring and a guy I had killer chemistry with. Every match we ever had was great. Happy 25th anniversary. Lemmy would be proud of you. And here's to another 25 years of dominating the wrestling world as only The Game can do," said Jericho.
Jericho then joked about spitting water but thought better of it as to not ruin his phone.
