Christopher Daniels is proud of Cody.
Ring Of Honor recently announced that next year when they normally present their Supercard Of Honor show, the company will be partnering up with New Japan Pro Wrestling on April 7th to present ROHxNJPW 'G1 Supercard' at Madison Square Garden. Ring Of Honor has brought plenty of eyes to their company with the likes of Cody, The Young Bucks, ROH World Champion Jay Lethal, Christoper Daniels, the Women Of Honor division and Dalton Castle leading the charge.
Former ROH World Champion Christopher Daniels was interviewed by GiveMeSport and during the conversation Daniels began speaking about Cody who ventured away from the world of sports-entertainment to carve his own path. Daniels stated that Cody is the best example of a wrestler who leaves WWE and strives to find success outside of the company.
"I've had nothing but good experiences working with Cody. He's pioneering, he's making his own way in professional wrestling and he's one of the best examples of going outside of the WWE and finding success." Daniels said. "It's great to see that happening for him. I was a big fan of his work when he was in the WWE and to see the change from the 'Dashing' Cody Rhodes, Stardust to what he is now, it's pretty cool to know that he bet on himself and now is succeeding in a way a lot of people want in their own career - it's cool to know that he is making it happen."
