CJ Perry speaks highly of Liv Morgan's current run.
Liv Morgan has been featured on WWE Raw in recent months. She beat Becky Lynch to win the WWE Women's World Championship, and she has been involved in a buzzworthy storyline with Dominik Mysterio. The program heated up even more on the July 8 episode of WWE Raw, as Rhea Ripley returned and confronted Mysterio.
Speaking with Jordan Mendoza for USA TODAY Sports, CJ Perry shared her thoughts on Liv Morgan's run on WWE Raw.
"She's in the perfect casting. She's an incredible worker, she's an incredible athlete. At the end of the day, professional wrestling is scripted television, where we want to believe what you're doing is real, and she's the hot girl. We love her. Those are exciting stories to tell on television," Perry said.
CJ Perry went on to emphasize that women needed to be represented, and they brought value to wrestling companies. She highlighted Morgan and noted that the storyline showed that there was a spot for everyone.
"Women need to be represented, and yes we are different than men," she said. "But we bring value. We can sell tickets. I mean look at Liv Morgan right now. It shows you that we need everything. We need the competitors, we need the badasses, we need the love stories and there's a spot for everyone," Perry said.
