Cesaro is BCC.

At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, Claudio Castagnoli (formerly Cesaro in WWE) made his AEW debut, replacing Bryan Danielson in his scheduled bout against Zack Sabre Jr. Danielson announced he would be unable to compete at Forbidden Door on the June 22 episode of AEW Dynamite, but that he would pick ZSJ's opponent.

Claudio will also replace Danielson in the Blood & Guts bout on Wednesday's AEW Dynamite and is the newest member of the Blackpool Combat Club.

Cesaro left WWE in February when his contract expired. He has been out of the spotlight following his WWE departure. Cesaro signed with WWE in September 2011 and won WWE United States Championship, the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships (five times), and the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships (two times). Before signing with WWE, Cesaro built his reputation on the independent scene as Claudio Castagnoli where he competed for ROH, CHIKARA, PWG, and other independent promotions.

After the show, Tony Khan confirmed Claudio is All Elite, giving him the official graphic.
