CM Punk is open to working with John Cena on the big screen. He's open to anything in the acting world, as long as it's fulfilling.
CM Punk and John Cena defined their generation of WWE Superstars a decade ago. Fate brought them both back under the same roof at WWE, with Cena in his farewell year, as his career focus has predominantly been Hollywood. Punk has also continued to explore acting as an artistic outlet beyond the squared circle.
During a recent interview with Alistair McGeorge of Metro in the UK, Punk spoke about WWE's partnership with Netflix potentially opening new doors for him outside of wrestling. Punk said he would be open to working with John Cena in projects and is open to anything as long as it's fulfilling for him.
"The Netflix thing is interesting because I think they want to specifically find projects not only for me but other superstars that they feel can cross over," he said. "I would love to do stuff with Cena. I would love to do stuff with anybody, really. I’m in it to learn. In that respect, I’m an artist. I want to do stuff that’s fulfilling."
