CM Punk weighs in on The Rock's performance at WrestleMania 40.
The Rock returned to the ring for his first advertised match in 11 years at WrestleMania 40, teaming with Roman Reigns to face Seth Rollins & Cody Rhodes. After nearly 45 minutes, The Rock & Reigns were victorious with Rock pinning Rhodes.
On the ESPN post-show, CM Punk was asked about Rock's performance.
"I thought he looked great. As being somebody who wrestled him ten years ago, the same questions were lobied around. Everyone wanted to know what he was going to look like, how his wind was going to be. While there is a giant difference between a tag match or coming back to wrestle the champion, I thought he did well tonight. I thought he looked really good. He won the match, what really can I say?" he said.
Punk was one of Rock's last matches before he returned, facing The Rock twice in 2013.
