Punk said that while most people start their road to WrestleMania in January, his started at SummerSlam.

Punk may have lost to McIntyre, but he got back up and was ready to keep fighting. He called out McIntyre, but instead got Seth Rollins.

Rollins and Punk came face-to-face and ready to fight, until they were interrupted by McIntyre, who was in the crowd. McIntyre tried to get their attention, but Rollins and Punk never wavered from each other's eyes, until McIntyre mentioned that he still had the Larry & AJ bracelet.

Punk then took off after McIntyre.

McIntyre defeated Punk at WWE SummerSlam in a bout where Rollins served as the special guest referee. After the match, McIntyre took back the Larry & AJ Lee bracelet that he stole weeks ago, but Punk was able to re-acquire during the match.
