Cody And Young Bucks Still Talking With Pac; Group Hopes He'll Join AEW On A Full-Time Basis

The Elite provides an update on Pac.

Last weekend it was announced that Pac would not be appearing at AEW Double or Nothing for his scheduled match with Hangman Page. Instead, Page and Pac had a match in Nottingham, UK that ended in a disqualification. After the bout, Pac attacked Page and stated his goal was to injure Page and with that accomplished, he had no reason to be in Las Vegas.

It was later reported that Pac had creative differences with All Elite Wrestling as he and Dragon Gate did not want him losing while he currently holds the Open The Dream Gate Championship. The Wrestle Gate Pro bout between Pac and Page was released online this past Tuesday.

During their Starrcast II panel, Cody Rhodes and the Young Bucks addressed the situation involving Pac.

"Instead of not giving (the fans) anything, we wanted you to at least have the match and that's why we put it out for free. I wouldn't say that Pac is out of AEW, by any means," said Cody. "I also wouldn't put any heavy stock into the amount of speculation that was around the whole thing. Our media is unregulated, so they can just say anything. It's ongoing, we want it to work out. We mentioned the UK pay-per-view and we want Pac in AEW. I wouldn't put stock into what you heard."

Nick Jackson added, "We're close to him. We're still talking to with him and hopefully, everything works out and he's wrestling full-time for us."

Not only is Pac not scheduled to be part of AEW Double or Nothing, but due to the attack in Nottingham, Hangman Page stated that he's "not allowed" to wrestle on Saturday.
