Cody Deaner says he’s not a nobody.
It appears the actions of Eric Young have gotten in the mind of Cody Deaner. Ever since last month’s IMPACT Turning Point event, Eric Young and Joe Doering have been laying waste on IMPACT specifically targeting Cody Deaner and Cousin Jake. It was later revealed by Cody that he used to travel with Eric Young when he first started in wrestling and he felt that Young was attacking him specifically because he believed he was a nobody.
This story came to a head at Final Resolution as Eric Young went one-on-one with Rhino. While the referee was down, Eric Young was going to use his mask on Rhino when The Deaners hit the ring, apparently to stop Eric. That was when Cody screamed that he was “not a nobody” before hitting his cousin Jake with the mask and leaving the ring. Ultimately, Eric Young was able to defeat Rhino.
