Cody Rhodes Has No Master Sword, Looks To Become A Legend By Defeating Roman Reigns At WrestleMania

Cody Rhodes is determined to dethrone Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, even if he doesn't have a Master Sword.

On the March 13 episode of WWE Raw, Rhodes picked up more momentum on the road to WrestleMania by defeating LA Knight. He cut a heartfelt promo after the match and discussed his upcoming bout with Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39. He stated that he doesn't have a master sword that will guide him to victory, but he plans to pin Reigns and end his generational reign on the grandest stage of them. Rhodes also stated that he acknowledges Reigns, but the champion needs to acknowledge him.

The Master Sword is used in many games throughout the Zelda series. It is carried by a hero who has proven their worthiness by overcoming any number of daunting challenges.

Rhodes previously noted that he liked The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. "The American Nightmare" is synonymous with his "Kingdom" theme song, "The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom" will be released on May 12, 2023.
