Cody Rhodes Helps Randy Orton To The Back After Bloodline Attack On 7/12 WWE SmackDown

Randy Orton needed some help.

On the July 12 episode of WWE SmackDown, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes confronted Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline. He tried to fight the group, but they outnumbered him. Randy Orton tried to make the save, but he was no match for the vicious faction.

While Rhodes was tied up in the ropes, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa attacked Orton with the steel steps. Jacob Fatu blasted Orton with three superkicks. Fatu, Tonga, and Loa then powerbombed Orton through the broadcast table.

In a SmackDown Exclusive, Rhodes and WWE officials checked on Orton, who was clearly in rough shape. Rhodes and the officials slowly got Orton to his feet, and they helped him backstage. It was apparent that Orton was in a lot of pain after the beat-down, as he had to stop at one point on the way to the back.
