Cody Rhodes praises Triple H.
Cody Rhodes has openly said how much he's enjoyed his time since returning to WWE as he's ascended to the top of the mountain as the Undisputed WWE Champion. Rhodes has worked closely with everyone at WWE, including the writers, merchandise department, marketing, and more.
"I like everything about how wrestling at WWE is currently laid out. Probably the best thing ever is that there is a wrestler in charge. I've always heard the argument, 'Wrestlers shouldn't be in the office.' Eh, it depends on where they are in the office, right? Who they were trained by. Somebody that has been to the top, who has been in the rare air and can tell you, 'this is the steps you could take to get there, this should be the steps you take.' I think that's such a helpful thing. We're going on two years of Triple H being in charge of creative at WWE, that's a great thing," Cody said on Busted Open Radio.
Triple H took over as head of creative in June 2022 after Vince McMahon initially retired following allegations of hush money were reported. Vince would continue to have a hand in things until WWE merged with UFC to form TKO in September 2023. He resigned from all positions in January 2024 after former employee Janel Grant filed a lawsuit against him and company, alleging sex trafficking and sexual abuse.
