Cody Rhodes Says Wrestlers Injured In AEW Will Be Covered By The Company

Cody Rhodes and AEW are all about looking out for the wrestlers.

During yesterday's AEW Rally, Cody declared that All Elite Wrestling would be taking care of the wrestlers. Cody specifically mentioned that AEW will change the wrestling economy to keep the wrestlers happy. Later in the rally, Brandi Rhodes said there would be equal pay for men and women. Details on pay were vague and the husband and wife declined to go into full details while speaking to the media after the rally. However, Cody did state that injured wrestlers would be taken care of.

"A lot of concerns that guys have is, 'what happens if I get hurt in the ring?' That's the one thing WWE covers. We can confirm that anybody that gets hurt in an AEW ring will be 100 percent taken care of by AEW," said Cody.

On the subject of health care, AEW President Tony Khan confirmed in his media scrum that full-time employees would have "the best in health care and benefits." Khan said benefits for other wrestlers/employees would be dependent on their involvement with AEW.
