Two matches have been announced for the January 8 episode of WWE Raw.
As confirmed on the "Day 1" episode of WWE Raw on January 1, Cody Rhodes will face Shinsuke Nakamura. The two stars have been feuding in recent weeks. Rhodes defeated Nakamura via disqualification on the December 11 episode of WWE Raw. On the January 1 episode, Rhodes challenged Nakamura to face him again, and Nakamura wanted to make Cody wait one more week.
Additionally, Katana Chance and Kayden Carter will defend the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship against Chelsea Green and Piper Niven. Chance and Carter beat Green and Niven for the titles on the December 18 episode of WWE Raw.

WWE also confirmed that CM Punk would appear on the January 8 episode.
